Sheen against the Council

Earlier this week, relatives of Bp. Fulton Sheen asked for his remains to be moved from St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York to Peoria, Illinois, the diocese in which he was ordained. The Archdiocese of New York, according to reports, is expected to comply with the request. This matters because once Sheen’s body arrives in Illinois, his cause for canonization is expected to proceed. The United Nations is at war with Catholicism

The Hunger Games is an extremely popular movie franchise about a dystopian (what else?) society where a powerful central government known as The Capitol controls – psychologically, economically, politically and culturally – the 13 “districts” that comprise the country of Panem. Every year a “Hunger Games” takes place. The games are a fight to the death with children from the districts and are punishment for an uprising against The Capitol that took place in the not so distant past. Please follow and like us:
